OfferScratch is made by Barakat Labs. Here is what happens to your information, in plain words.

The calculators

• No cookies, no local storage, no analytics and no ads, on this site or in the calculators, except the Cloudflare check described below.
• The math runs on your device. The numbers you type are never sent to us.
• If the site owner added a logo, your browser loads that image from the owner's host. That is the only outside request a calculator makes when it opens.

Joining a list

You can leave your email in two places: the early list for our underwriter, and the builder for site owners.

• The bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) loads only when you click into an email field. Cloudflare may store its own data on your device for that check; see their policy.
• We keep your email, and for site owners the website and the calculator they chose. We also keep the site the signup came from.
• That goes to the OfferDesk owner console, run by Barakat Labs, and nowhere else. We do not sell it or share it.
• We use it to email you when the underwriter opens, and about OfferScratch and OfferDesk. Site owners may also hear about their calculator. Unsubscribe anytime, from any email or by writing to adham@barakatlabs.com.
• Ask us to delete your email and we will.

Protecting the forms

To stop abuse we limit how often one email or one address can sign up. For that we keep a one-way scrambled code of the email and of the IP address, never the plain values, and delete it within 48 hours.

Who handles data for us

• Vercel hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs.
• Neon stores the scrambled rate-limit codes.
• Cloudflare runs the bot check, only when you start a signup.
• OfferDesk, also run by Barakat Labs, receives the signups.
